Fisting
Fisting refers to inserting
the fingers or hand into the rectum or vagina. When people talk about fisting,
they almost always mean anal fisting, but the precautions are the same
for both. Fisting could be risky for the insertive partner if there is
broken skin that would allow blood from the rectum or vagina into the bloodstream.
Using a latex glove reduces the risk.
Kissing
This activity is not known
to pose any risk for HIV infection. Saliva does not transmit HIV. One should
be aware of cuts or sores in the mouth and, if concerned, not floss or
brush right before French kissing. "Dry" or "social" kissing poses no risk
for transmitting HIV.
