The skin is an effective barrier against all sorts of organisms, and will stop HIV. Any possibly infected fluid on the skin should be washed off. An intact scab is as effective as unbroken skin. Open cuts in the skin might allow passage of the virus, but the breaks need to be open and/or bleeding to pose a risk.

Solo masturbation

With solo masturbation there is no fear of self-infection. Anything done solo is okay as long as someone else's infectious fluids are not present.
